CAN I HAVE AN EARLY CHECK IN ?
Early check ins are not guaranteed. Please provide us with your ETA prior to arriving and we will endeavour to accommodate you as early as possible but please keep in mind that check in is 3pm.
WHAT HAPPENS IF ARRIVE LATE AT NIGHT ?
No problem! We have a late night key safe and we will text and email you details prior to your stay. Your key will be placed in the key safe and you will be texted a code and directions to your room. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY ?
We have a no cancellation policy. Upon booking, you will be asked if you would like to purchase travel insurance and provided with a link to do so easily, as a part of our booking service. We highly recommend you take it, in the off chance that your booking may need to be cancelled, as we do not offer refunds of any kind or change of dates.
HOW MUCH DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED ?
Bookings are charged at the time of booking. If you have requested to make a part payment, you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 50%. The remainder is payable 30 days prior to your stay. If not, your credit card will be charged in full.
DO YOU HAVE A DRY STORE ?
We have in our deluxe and lake view rooms an extra storage area in the wardrobe to fit skis and boards. We no longer offer a drying room due to possible theft of gear.
HOW FAR TO THE RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS ?
The Alpine Resort Motel is approximately 4 minutes drive and 16 minutes walk to Nuggets Crossing where the shops, supermarket and restaurants are.
HOW FAR ARE THE SKI RESORTS FROM ALPINE RESORT MOTEL ?
Thredbo and Perisher are about 30minutes drive from us and Charlotte’s Pass is around 45 minutes.
DO I NEED CHAINS ?
When entering the National Park chains must be carried at all times – this is a legal requirement. If you plan on driving to the ski tube, then on rare occasion’s chains may be required. However, because the ski tube is below the snowline and outside the Kosciuszko National Park it is not a legal requirement to carry chains to get to the ski tube.We do advise to carry chains at all time – they can be hired for a small amount at THE BASE ski hire.
CAN I HAVE EXTRA PEOPLE IN MY ROOM ?
If you would like to add more people to your room, you need to advise reception. If you are found to have more people in your room than you have booked for, you will be charged the going rate at that time.
DO YOU HAVE COTS ?
Yes, please ask reception prior to your check in. Cots are limited and need to be booked.
DO YOU HAVE COOKING FACILITIES IN THE ROOMS ?
In some rooms, we do have a small cooktop. Each room has a mini fridge and microwave.
DO YOU PROVIDE CROCKERY AND CUTLERY ?
We do not have these in the rooms, however, if you like you can request a crockery pack from reception free of charge. This includes bowls, plates, cutlery and dish liquid with cleaning cloth and tea towel for the amount of people staying in your room. These need to be cleaned by the end of your stay, or you will be charged a $30 cleaning fee.
DO YOU HAVE AIR CONDITIONING ?
No, we do not. We do have heating in your room as well as under floor and building heating, so you should never be cold in Winter.
WHAT IF I HAVE TWO CARS ?
We offer one off street parking space per room. Should you have more than one, you will need to park the second outside the building on the street.
DO I NEED TO SHOW MY CREDIT CARD UPON ARRIVAL ?
Yes, you will need to.
